STEP 3: CREATING YOUR GRANTS LIBRARY

Your Grants Library is your nonprofit’s hub for essential documents needed to secure grant funding. During this step, you’ll organize and upload critical files to ensure you’re prepared for every opportunity.

Why is This Step Important?

Grant applications often require specific documents to verify eligibility and demonstrate your nonprofit’s readiness. By completing your Grants Library, you’ll save time and increase your chances of success.

How to Build Your Grants Library:

  1. Download the Checklist Document to view all required items and track your progress.
  2. Upload your documents to the designated folders in your Grants Library.
  3. Use the checklist to mark completed items and stay organized.
  4. Once you’ve uploaded at least 75% of the documents, click the "Validate" button below to notify the Grants Validation Team.

Validation Process:

  • Green Light: You’re ready to proceed to Step 4.
  • Yellow/Red Light: Work with our team to address missing documents during Office Hours held every Friday at 3pm PST.

Get Support:

  • Join our bi-weekly weekly Q&A Discovery sessions every Wednesday to ask questions and get assistance with building your Grants Library.
  • Join our weekly Office Hours support call held on Fridays at 3pm PST 

GRANTS LIBRARY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • You will see a checklist document in the grants library.  You can download the document and keep track of your personal completion status by marking the status of your progress in the left column of the document.
  • NOTE: The checklist document includes links to federal and state government resources (state links are for California, we will add additional states soon.  Please send us a message if you find helpful links in your state we should incorporate).
  • NOTE:  All files are secure in our system and therefore can only be accessed by someone with your access link or MHM’s assigned Grants Validation Team
  • You will notice an "Upload" button that allows you to upload documents to your library.
