What is cohort training?
Cohort Training is SGI's small-group intensive program, built to take you from where you are right now to funded, structured, and growing, with the guidance of industry experts and a team behind you.
This isn't a solo journey. You'll work alongside other driven entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders in a focused, supported environment, with a clear path to your first, or next, grant, contract, or business milestone.
Four cohort tracks
Every track leads to the same place: funded, structured, and growing, by a different route. Pick the one that matches where you are today.
Grants Cohort
For entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders who want to identify, apply for, and win grant funding. You'll build your Priority Passion Project, complete your grant readiness documents, and submit your first fundable proposal, with expert guidance throughout.
Federal Contracts Cohort
For businesses ready to pursue government contracting opportunities. You'll get SAM.gov registered, build your capability statement, identify the right contract opportunities, and learn how to compete and win.
Business Development Cohort
For entrepreneurs who need a solid foundation before going after funding. You'll structure your business, build your brand assets, develop your pitch, and create the framework that makes investors and funders say yes.
Coaching Cohort
For leaders who want direct, high-level guidance to accelerate their outcomes. This cohort combines group strategy sessions with personalized coaching to help you break through barriers, make bold moves, and lead with clarity.

- 30/60/90 day challenges: guided action toward your first fundable grant proposal, using our proprietary e3p3 software to find grants that fit your business, idea, or program.
- Build your first e3p3 Grant Fund, guided by our team of industry experts.

Enrolling takes you into our e3p3 software, where you'll set up your account and choose your cohort track in a few guided steps.

Step 1 of 3. Add your name, email, cell number, and country, then select whether you're associated with an SGI project partner, city, or national agency.
Select your organization type
Step 2 of 3. Choose the category that best describes your organization, for example small business, start up, nonprofit, or CBO. This helps recommend the right tier.
See your recommended tier
Step 3 of 3. Based on your organization type and location, you'll see a suggested starting tier and what's included, before moving on to membership.
Choose your e3p3 membership
You'll land on the membership page. For Cohort Training, choose either the Bronze Card: Inner Circle (Cohort) or the Purple Card: Inner Circle (Master Class).
Pick Beta Tester or Non Beta
Inside the Bronze Card, select whether you're joining as a Beta Tester or Non Beta member.
Pick your cohort track
Finally, you'll see the four cohort tracks: Total Grant Support, Total Contract Support, Total Business Setup, and Total Coaching. Choose the one that matches your goal to finish enrolling.
